Ellen Freeman speaks on RAMP Certification, the most common citations, and discounting alcohol and Happy Hour regulations. Ellen M. Freeman received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2015. She was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2015. She is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association (PRLA), Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association (PFMA), Alliance of Alcohol Industry Attorneys and Consultants (AAIAC), National Conference of State Liquor Administrators (NCSLA), and the National Association of Licensing and Compliance Professionals (NALCP). Ellen began her legal career in the alcohol industry in 2013 at Flaherty & O’Hara, PC. Twelve years later, Ellen is now a Senior Associate at Flaherty & O’Hara, PC. Ellen represents clients primarily in the retail tier of the alcohol industry on general liquor licensing matters, complex ownership changes, in litigation and hearings, on multistate license acquisitions, on administrative citations and on tied house and trade practice matters.
