Every year the PPA Board of Directors evaluates its fiscal year budget and the future growth of our association. The Board always looks for ways to be financially responsible, particularly with large financial expenses. With this in mind, the Board has discussed some areas where can be more economically responsible. PPA's longtime partnership with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) comprises 30% of PPA's budget, which is allocated to pay member's dues to the national organization.
We have scheduled a virtual meeting with representatives from both NFPA and NALA - The Paralegal Association at 12:00 pm on August 15, 2024.
During this meeting, each national organization will discuss who and what they are and their membership benefits. We are looking for ways to be more fiscally responsible with our budget, better serve our members, grow our membership, obtain timely CLE approvals, and maintain involvement with a national organization to ensure the future prosperity of the paralegal profession.
Later this year, a ballot will be circulated to PPA's voting members to determine which national organization the association will partner with starting in 2025.
This meeting is open to all PPA members, and all members can comment; however, voting is limited to voting members only.
Link to attend will be sent out upon confirmation of registration..
